Hardware Engineering Opportunities

Technician, RF Engineering

Location:

Mclean, VA

Mclean, Virginia based consumer electronics and entertainment content provider is seeking talented and experienced (5 - 10 years) hardware engineers to join our team. These opportunities will include working with hardware engineering teams to design and develop hardware for consumer electronic devices.

Requirements:

Knowledge of analog and digital electronics
Understanding of PC-based software
Ability to learn and apply basic programming of equipment for test and evaluation purposed from verbal and written sources
Knowledge of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers and power meters
Skills in good breadboarding and PCB construction
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs on occasion
Ability to adapt to change quickly and meet tight deadlines is a must
Must be a team player and possess succinct communications skills
Associate of Arts degree in Electronics Technology or related area

Duties/Responsibilities:

Test and measurement of prototype and production equipment including RF, analog and digital designs
Maintain and update developmental (prototype) hardware to current design revision
Develop and follow test procedures, record results and capture characterization data for product design verification
Order parts, maintain technical laboratory, order and maintain equipment
Assist with installations, equipment trials, equipment assembly and demonstrations
