Job Title:
Engineer, ASIC Design Verification
Location:
Mclean, VA
Mclean, Virginia based consumer electronics and entertainment content provider is seeking talented and experienced (5-10 years) hardware engineers to join our team. These opportunities will include working with hardware engineering teams to execute system-level verification plans on the hardware portion of consumer electronic devices.
Requirements:
- Past experience in ASIC design verification flows and methodologies
- Knowledge of system-level SoC/ASIC design verification tool suites
- Past experience as a key member of ASIC verification team responsible for implementation of verification environment and generation of high-quality test cases
- Past experience with successful ASIC tape-out from test plan to sign-off
- Expertise in HDL (Verilog, VHDL, RTL) coding
- Past experience with C and scripting languages
- Understanding of assertions and advance verification techniques highly desired
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and meet tight deadlines is a must
- Must be a team player and possess succinct communications skills
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related area
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop test plan and verification environment and build test bench, checkers and models
- Participate in early product definition and SoC architecture design
- Document and review detailed test plans, test bench and close verification sign-off items
- Execute system-level verification plan
- Collaborate with software team members supporting the verification effort
- Develop board bring-up with first silicon
- Support post-silicon activities towards production release
